I truly am sick of working for people, and this is why:

This morning my students' mom calls me and tells me don't come today. I politely inform her that they have a reading comprehension test tomorrow. She calls the school to confirm this then calls me back to say ok I can come but only for an hour. Now, I usually stay at her house for 2 hours because she has triplets and they are kind of weak. This past week, however, she's been telling me only an hour and they've had tests all week. I said fine. An hour's what you want, an hour's what you'll get. Then I thought to myself that she better not complain when their grades turn out bad. All her fault. She has absolutely no appreciation for the amount of trouble I go to for her kids. I print up worksheets for them, let them use my Jumpstart cds, play educational games with them. I mean, damn, if she has no good reason to reduce my hours with her kids after SPECIFICALLY ASKING ME TO STAY LONGER WITH THEM, then why the hell does she do it? Rich bitch. Not like they have anything to do but party, anyway. Tomorrow they're leaving on a five-day trip to Dubai. She said she was going to bring me back another abaya like last time (a truly gorgeous thing with matching shayla) but I never asked her to bring me anything. Hate working for people. Much prefer to work for myself.

It sucks that they are the only paying students I have right now. When I got off the phone with her, I got on this here computer and for damn sure printed up my tutoring packet FINALLY. Oh, yes. I think it is high time I found some other students. Adult ones, so I don't have to put up with mommy garbage and middleman bullcrap. Aslo, I'll be charging them more and I can reach my goals sooner. It's all just a means to an end.

Anyways, I found so much to print up that I had to finally stop before I ran out of ink. I'm on a tight budget and I just bought ink cartridges so...best to pace myself. Now, when to put the fliers on the cars? I first need to find out from my college friend if the colleges will be closed for the upcoming holidays or not. I'm guessing yes. Which will mean Tuesday would be the best time. I'll still call her to find out. Well, that's it for now.
