Ok...

Hubby spoke to the bank and they halted the proceedings to take back the car, but he's going to have to pay them KD300 by Sept 10. Other than that, it's only my second full day back and I'm still sluggish. I put away all of the kid's things and most of mine. Hubby's is still all over the bleeding place. I told him today he needs to help by putting away his junk. He looked surprised and asked why he had to put away his own stuff, to which I responded with a like expression and asked who in hell he thought was going to put it away if not him? It was his stuff! He put some of it away, but the place is wrecked and 90% of it his junk thrown hither, thither and yon.

Tomorrow, I should be able to stay up from the morning till evening. I manged it today with only a small nap in the afternoon. I plan to ask him to take the kid to his school while I get this place in order, cuz I can't stand this anymore. He stated emphatically today that we need a maid. He said it like it was absolutely imperative. I swear, he about died when he had to do for himself and wash a few dishes. My thing is, since so many families in the states and elsewhere manage careers, family and home, why can't I?? The kid can bend her behind for once and clean up after herself and so can hubby. The both of them are used to me being home to do it and then later the maid. Well, now they can both learn for themselves. The kid is having puppies about being told to pick up this and that but not as bad as hubby. Oh, well.

Too bad for them.
