Another Glimpse

Alright, well here we have Faith. She the other Slayer, the one that went bad and tried to kill Buffy and steal her boyfriends. I know, I know, there's only supposed to be one slayer at a time. See, Buffy died in season 1 then got brought back. However here brief dead spell, activated another slayer who we saw for a few episodes in season 2. When she died, faith was activated and we saw her for season 3 and some eps in season 4. This chick is straight up rough! I like her.

This is Riley Finn. He's part of a secret government agency that fights demons and conducts all sorts of weird experiments. He also goes to Buffy and gang's college. When Angel left at the end of season 3 to start his own show, Buffy was torn up. But enter this dude in season 4 and they somehow manage to hook up. He's there until season 5. He got used shamelessly by Buffy and left. Good on him. He was such a sweet guy.

Ms. Jenny Calendar. The computer Science teacher at their highschool, she's only around for season 2. She was Giles's love interest until Angel killed her brutally when he turned evil. She's a decendant of the original gypsies who cursed him and a self-proclaimed techno pagan.

This is Buffy's mom. She really is a nice lady. Didn't know anything about Buffy being a slayer till the end of season 2 at which point she threw Buffy out the house. Joyce dies in season 5, shortly before Buffy herself dies for the second time.

Buffy's kid sister, Dawn. Well not actually her sister. Dawn is the ball of mystical energy called The Key. She belongs to this hell-god named Glory. Some monks who were guarding the key knew glory was coming for it and they couldn't let that happen. If Glory got her hands on the key, she'd use it to obliterate the universe. So they put the key in human form and sent it to the slayer in the form of a sister to ensure that Buffy would protect the Key with her life. The monks altered the memories of everyone who had ever been in contact with Buffy in her whole life. So even though Dawn shows up in season 5, everybody thinks they've known her since Buffy moved to Sunnydale. Eventually they all find out the truth, Glory gets Dawn, uses her to open all dimensional portals, and Buffy closes it by jumping in and killing herself. Buffy gets brought back to life in season 6. Oh yeah, and I can't stand Dawn.

Oz. Willow's first and only boyfriend. He's a werewolf, so three days out of the month they lock him up. One day in season 4 he meets a girl werewolf and they get all...wolfy. Willow finds them together and is all mad and hurt. Oz admits he was wolfy with wolf girl, but tells wolf girl he belongs to Willow. Wolf girl tries to kill Willow but Wolf Oz shows up in time to kill her before that happens. Then wolf Oz tries to kill Willow because he isn't in his right mind while the change is upon him, hence the reason he got wolfy with wolf girl in the first place. Buffy shows up and tranqs him in the nick of time. When Oz is normal again he decides to head off into the sunset to find himself and deal with his wolfness. Oz was around from season 2 till season 4. Anyways, Willow was so heartbroken that, after trying numerous spells with interesting results, she decides to go gay and hooks up with this girl Tara who goes to their college.

Wolf Oz. Well actually this is him at the beginning of the change. He's actually much more hairy when the change is complete.

This is Tara. She's a fellow witch and Willow's college love interest. Willow and Tara were so in love and blah de blah blah that when Tara gets shot and killed in season 6, Willow went berzerk and tried to end the world with her incredibly powerful magics.

This is Willow when she tried to end the world. She tried to kill Dawn and Buffy too, as well as Giles. Xander got to her in time to save the world and her.

Spike. He used to run with Angel and his crew back in the day a hundred years ago, but now he just hangs with Drusilla. The two of them are in season 2. Then Spike makes an appearance in season 3 before showing up in season 4 to remain until the show's end in season 7. The guy is a laugh riot. That secret government agency that Riley is a part of caught Spike and put a chip in his head so he could never again bite anybody or hurt humans. Spike's character is British and he falls in love with Buffy in season 5. In season 6 Buffy, adjusting to being brought back from the grave, has a torrid affair with him. Then she dumps him. Spike went crazy and after he tried to rape her, he goes on a months-long journey to find himself and get rid of his chip once and for all. He ended up getting his soul back instead. He saved the world in season 7 and died doing it.

Good ole Spike again.

This is Drusilla, Spike's love, or Dru as he calls her. Vampire and crazy as a loon. Also British.

Anyanka, better known as Anya. Former vengeance demon and Xander's love interest. She shows up in season 3. After her powers get taken away, she hooks up with Xander. They get engaged in season 5, Xander leaves her at the alter in season 6, and Anya returns to her demon self. She dies in season 7. Oh, and she's a capitalist who loves money and is fantastic at making it. And she's 1100 years old.

More Anya.
Ok, that's it for that. Next up: Buffy demons.
